Except in extraordinary circumstances, all travel arrangements should be made by licensed agencies. Exceptions must be approved by the director of the program and by the dean. Instructors are discouraged from accepting payments on behalf of travel agencies, and in no case should they accept cash or checks made out to them.

Instructors are urged to present itineraries to at least two travel agencies and to check agents' proposals with the program director. It is permissable to use agencies based outside the United States as long as they are licensed and insured. The program has worked successfully with the following agencies, among others:
