Except in extraordinary circumstances, all travel arrangements should be made by licensed agencies. Exceptions must be approved by the director of the program and by the dean. Instructors are discouraged from accepting payments on behalf of travel agencies; instructors should never accept cash or checks made out to themselves.

Instructors are urged to present itineraries to at least two travel agencies and to check agents' proposals with the program director. It is permissible to use agencies based outside the United States as long as they are licensed and insured. The program has worked successfully with the following agencies, among others:
